What is an infographic? If you don't know, go look it up. Read about it and then in your own words tell me what an infographic is. What do infographics do? How do they work? What makes a really good infographic?

An infographic is chart or graph that visually shows information, data, or knowledge. Infographics show us information, data, or knowledge. They help us to find trends in data and make larger sets of data easier to read. A good infographic is made up colors that stand out and use a good format.

Tell me about your Homecoming weekend! If you didn't participate in the Homecoming festivities, what did you do? Share pics!

I went to homecoming on Saturday with Gabby Wilcox. We went to the Red Door Grill and took pictures at Gezer Park. I had a great time. We went to dinner around 6:30 and arrived at the dance around 8:45. I danced and enjoyed myself Saturday. On Sunday, I watched Netflix the whole day.

Imagine Mr. Bacon has asked you to suggest one way of improving Blue Valley High School to make it a better place for students. Think about the changes that are needed at your school. Pick one change you feel would really make a difference and explain what it is and why you'd make the change.

The biggest change that is needed pushing back the start time of school. Everyday, except Thursday, I have to get up at 6:00 to catch my bus. In order to get the adequate amount of sleep I need to go to bed around 9:00. My schedule never works around that time. Usually I get in bed at 11:00 even when I try to go to bed earlier. I the start time is pushed back to 9:00, which it is on Thursday,   I feel that people would perform better in the earlier hours of the day.

My favorite app is Netflix. You can watch so many movies and television shows with it. I should have a medal for how much time I spend watching Netflix. Anytime I'm bored I just open it up and start watching.

E-mail is mail through the internet. I use email when need to send online files or communicate with businesses. Businesses use emails for customer service and send out deals. They do this so they can stay organized and it is easy to send out the deals. I know that you need to have correct grammar and spelling in emails.

I think all the things that we have learned will help me throughout high school and college. These will help me stay organized when writing assignments and when researching.  They will help me keep track of my ideas and keep all of my research websites in one place. This is good for when you need them they are all in the same place you don't need to go through your browser history or go to a bunch of sites. drive will especially help me in college because it's free and I don't need to spend hundreds of dollars on Microsoft Word.

Do you enjoy writing? When do you enjoy it? What kind of writing do you enjoy? Why do you think the ability to write is so important no matter what kind of writing it is? Give an example that you enjoyed writing or hated writing. Why?

I like writing some types of stories like fictional stories. Although it is important to write so you can express yourself and communicate I don't like to have a set outline or given topic to write about. I like writing fictional because there is no specific topic to write about. For example I enjoyed wrting a short story in seventh grade.

I believe this quote to be true. Say you don't prepare for a test, you most likely  won't know the answers to the test and do bad. So because you didn't study you failed the test. If you would've studied you most likely did good on the test and didn't fail the test.

Over the weekend I went to the BVHS football game it was great to watch but was really cold. My hands were numb after the game. After the game I went home warmed up while watching Netflix. I then watched the Chiefs play on Sunday. It was a fabulous game.

The importance of research is to learn and question further. You need to know how to research to answer questions. I have learned how to find quality information by using different ways of searching and finding quality resources by making sure that the information is legit. All of the teachers I've had have taught me to research

My global issue is discrimination of homosexuals. I already know that the Christian religion is a big contributor to this problem. I'm looking forward to finding out how to stop it. I'm looking forward to it because I'm a big gay rights supporter.

Yesterday I asked your to "think differently" and push yourself to be uncommon with your PSA project using Google Slides. Why do you think I asked you to do that? What is the point? Why not just use bullets and headers? Explain.


I think you asked us to think differently because if you didn't all the public service announcements would look the same. It wouldn't grab anyone's attention and they wouldn't listen to he message trying to be produced. If you have a unique, attention grabbing public service announcement more people will listen and the message gets out to a larger audience.

Tell me all about your Labor Day weekend. What did you do? Include photos!

     Over Labor Day I went down to Table Rock Lake. I went trout fishing and went out on a boat. My step sister got a new dog Reo who is really cute. He is a very hyper active dog doesn't ever stop moving. My favorite part was trout fishing I woke up at 4:00 to go. I only caught two because it just rained and the fish weren't biting but still had a great time.
